I just got my big Felicity order. I got the cardinal cloak. It is beautiful. Such a bright red and the inside of the hood is pleated. The blue Christmas dress is also very pretty. With such a bright blue color. I have to ask. There seems to be two pieces that attaches to the front of the coat. Are they suppose to snap in together or are there two different ways to wear that dress. I also receieved the pinner dress. I was a little concerned about the pins because it is meant for my daughter. I am wondering if I should stitch the apron to the dress. What do you think? My favorite was the traveling gown. It is a gorgeous soft lilac and there are embroidered flowers. Simply beautiful. I am going to order the rest of the clothes in October. I am hoping there might be more sales then.

    Hi Lieu,

Yes the "stomacher" is meant to be used to interchange on the xmas dress and get two different looks.

I haven't given Diana Felicity yet and we have the birthday dress too. I think it's a good idea to tack it down. The pins are *historical*, but I don't really want her playing with pins right now...or finding them in my foot because they fell into the carpeting!

Did you get the muff, mitts, and pattens?

Glad to hear you're happy with the order. I'm making my red cape with leftover wool from another project. I started it, but never got back to finishing it.

I also have only a few things left for Felicity (not her complete collection, thanks to the retirements!), but a nice one, nonetheless. I need the new outfit releases, the white summer gown, chocolate pot and party treats.

Laurie, I still have to get the muff, spring dress, night shift, extras shoes and stockings, all the accessories (except the meet), and the furniture. I will not get the retired ones; unless AG brings them back. They are too expensive on ebay. I doubt I will ever buy the furniture for any of the dolls or the trunks. I think they are too expensive for a small child and our budget. I plan to get books, clothes that are available, doll, and school lunches. Maybe a few of the accessories as she gets older. But my plan is not to get all the dolls for Kaitlin. I already have Samantha and Felicity for her. We own Kaya but don't plan to collect much for her. She is mostly on display. And the Asian AGOT. I think I will let her pick one other historical doll and that is it. If her godmother offers to get her an historical doll then that will be it. I think 4 dolls is more than enough. Also she has 3 MAC dolls put away for her already. I think it is great you can get all of the dolls but I think we have a more limited budget and my husband would probably freak if I bought them all for her. It just goes against his comfort level.

Interesting. I did not know they were on cassette tape. I might get that too.

My Felicity can wear her apron without pinning it or tacking it at all at the top. The top of her apron is quite stiff and stands up on its own after it's put on over the dress. My birthday dress is from the early 90s though, so not sure if that changed. Try it- it might work and then no pins or sewing is necessary!

Our Felicity's pinner gown is only a few months old and we don't use the pins, either. It's my favorite outfit for Felicity for everyday, at least until we get the summer gown.

I don't use the pins either. They're too small and too easy to lose so they stay on the paper they came in!

I use the mini safety pins that came with the bday dress. They stay in, nicely hidden if you put them in from the back, and I haven't taken them out for years!
